Welcome to my site about the small village Vuren in Holland.

Vuren is a part of the of a larger community called Lingewaal.
Lingewaal contains the villages Asperen, Herwijnen, Heukelum, Spijk and Vuren.

Vuren is situated on the riverbank of the river 'de Waal' between the provinces Gelderland and Zuid-Holland.

On the other side of the river there is a 14th century castle 'Slot Loevestein' and the historical village Woudrichem. This can be reached by ferry via Brakel or Fort Vuren.
